Sandstorm is a beautiful mess, its fun for a bit but cant really play it a lot and some of my friends share the same opinion, backing off to csgo or other fps. Its pretty rare for me to have long sandstorm sessions at this point. So the end result is a rather confusing experience of you being forced to certain playstyle if you want to win but it will be a frustrating random death simulator, even if you win in the end. By the time you slowplay around 1000 angles youre so late to the party its entirely pointless. More so in most popular game modes you cant afford to slow play even though the game kinda made with a tactical approach in mid. You will constantly die to random nades, proners in retarded one-and-done angles, noob tubers etc, low average fps skill of the playerbase(people hold shit angles, people randomly decide to stop holding angles and get you killed, no understanding of trading kills, etc). In sandstorm it doesnt matter how good you are. Competitive titles are very popular for a reason, people like to be in control of their gameplay and have consistent experience that. IMO biggest issue with sandstorm is its randomness. Sandstorm looks like its a realistic tactical shooter, but you cant really play this way and i constantly see low level players just camping it out until they're done with the game(even streamers that were sponsored lately just refused to play anything but domination, lol). Siege is even more niche, but its much more skill-based than insurgency, and most importantly its not decieving in its gameplay. Promotional content may be removed if the poster does not meaningfully contribute to the subreddit.
